How do I create my first AI agent?
Sign up, click "Create Agent," name it, and add training content. You can train using website URLs, document uploads, text snippets, or Q&A pairs.
How long does it take to train an agent?
A typical website with 10-50 pages takes 2-5 minutes. Document uploads process within seconds to a few minutes depending on size.
Do I need technical skills to use Agentkit?
No coding required. Create agents through our visual interface, upload content with drag-and-drop, and embed using copy-paste. Developers can use our API for custom integrations.
Can I try Agentkit before I pay?
Yes. The Free plan includes 1 agent with 50 messages per month at no cost.
What content can I use to train my agent?
Four methods: website URLs (we crawl and extract content), document uploads (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, TXT, Markdown), text snippets, and Q&A pairs for precise answers. Most users combine multiple sources.
How many website pages can I crawl?
The Free plan includes 10 website links. Paid plans include unlimited links. We automatically crawl each URL and extract text content.
What file types are supported for document uploads?
We support PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, TXT, and Markdown files (up to 50MB each). Free plans have 400KB storage per agent; paid plans include 40MB.
Does my agent automatically update when my website changes?
Standard and Pro plans include automatic daily retraining for web sources. You can also manually trigger retraining anytime.
What languages does my agent support?
Your agent responds in 95+ languages automatically. It detects the language of incoming questions and replies in the same language.
How do I add the agent to my website?
Go to your agent's Channels tab, copy the JavaScript snippet, and paste it before the closing </body> tag. The widget appears automatically.
Does it work with WordPress, Shopify, and other platforms?
Yes. The JavaScript widget works on any platform: WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, and custom sites. Paste the embed code into your site's HTML.
Can I customize the agent appearance?
Yes. Customize colors, the chat bubble icon, welcome messages, and suggested prompts. Standard and Pro plans can remove the "Powered by Agentkit" branding.
Can I integrate Agentkit with other tools?
Yes. The widget embeds on any website or platform that supports JavaScript, including WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow.
How are messages counted?
Each visitor message counts as one. AI responses do not count separately. Your quota resets at the start of each billing cycle.
What happens if I exceed my message limit?
Your agent displays a message asking visitors to try again later. Upgrade anytime to get more messages immediately.
Can I remove the "Powered by Agentkit" branding?
Yes. Standard and Pro plans let you remove the "Powered by Agentkit" branding from the chat widget.
What if I need more than the Pro plan offers?
Contact us to discuss custom arrangements for higher limits.
Where is my data stored and is it secure?
Your data is stored securely with encryption at rest and in transit. We never use your content to train other models. Delete your data anytime from the dashboard.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings. Your agents work until the billing period ends, then revert to Free plan limits.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe.
My agent isn't responding correctly. What can I do?
Review your training content for clarity and completeness. Add specific information about common topics, include Q&A pairs for precise answers, and remove outdated content.
The chat widget isn't appearing on my website
Ensure you copied the complete embed code and placed it before the closing </body> tag. Clear your browser cache and test in incognito mode. Ad blockers may prevent loading.
