Cal.com

Use a Cal.com event URL so your agent can search availability and offer booking slots.

The Cal.com action lets your agent search availability for a public Cal.com event URL and show matching slots during chat.

Unlike Calendly, Cal.com does not require a connected integration in Agentkit. The action uses the event URL you provide.

Before You Start

Cal.com actions require a paid Agentkit plan.
You need a public Cal.com event URL.
The URL must point to a user or team event, for example https://cal.com/acme/demo or https://cal.com/team/acme/demo.

Custom Cal.com organization hosts are supported when the URL opens a valid Cal.com event page.

Add the Action

Open your agent.
Go to Actions.
Click Add Action and choose Cal.com.
Paste the Cal.com event URL.
Review the When to use instructions.
Save and enable the action.

Configuration

Field	Description
Action name	A clear name that helps the agent understand when to use the action.
Cal.com Event URL	The public Cal.com event page to search for available slots.
When to use	Natural language instructions that tell the agent when to search availability.

The action can search a date window from 1 to 28 days. If the visitor does not provide dates, the default instructions use the next 7 days.

What Visitors See

When the action runs, the agent searches Cal.com for available slots and shows matching times in chat so the visitor can choose one.

Good Trigger Instructions

Use specific instructions, for example:

Use this action when the visitor wants to book an appointment.
If they do not provide dates, search from today through the next 7 days.
If they provide a date range, use that range.

Troubleshooting

The URL is rejected

Use a full https://cal.com/... event URL or a valid organization Cal.com host. Links to login, signup, dashboards, or generic team pages are not event URLs.

No slots appear

Check that the Cal.com event has availability in the searched date range and that the event URL is still active.
