Experts Program
How the Agentkit Experts Program works — for customers hiring an expert and for agencies applying to join.
The Agentkit Experts Program connects customers who need implementation help with agencies and freelancers we have approved to build on Agentkit. This page describes how the program works today, what it does, and what it deliberately does not do.
Overview
The Experts Program is a concierge service. There is no public directory, no profile pages, and no self-service marketplace. A customer who wants help submits a request through the help form. A human on our team reads it and replies by email with 1–3 introductions. Everything after the introduction — scoping, pricing, contracts, delivery — happens directly between the customer and the expert.
How to apply (as an expert)
- Sign in to Agentkit.
- Go to Help & Support.
- Select Apply to Become an Expert as the problem type.
- In the description, include: your agency name, specialties, portfolio links, the regions and languages you operate in, and anything else that will help us decide whether to list you.
- Submit the form.
A human on our team reads every application and replies by email. We approve, decline, or ask a clarifying question. We do not publish response-time SLAs.
Approved experts are added to an internal list we use when matching customer requests. We reserve the right to decline or remove an expert at any time.
How matching works (for customers)
- Sign in to Agentkit.
- Go to Help & Support.
- Select Hire an Expert as the problem type.
- In the description, include your project goals, budget, timeline, and any stack or integration details that affect fit.
- Submit the form.
We email 1–3 introductions from our internal list. Matching is a judgment call based on what you describe and which approved experts we think are a fit. If none of the introductions lead to an engagement, email us back and we'll either try another round or tell you we can't place you.
Commission terms
Approved experts earn 30% recurring commission for 12 months on referred customers who become first-time paying Agentkit subscribers.
- Eligibility: only first-time paying customers count. Customers who have previously paid for Agentkit do not qualify.
- Duration: commission accrues for 12 months from the customer's first paid invoice.
- Payout cadence: quarterly, via bank transfer.
- Attribution: manual. When you refer a customer, email us with their name or company and the approximate date of the referral. We reconcile against paid subscriptions and confirm.
We are working on automated attribution. Until then, the manual email step is required.
Scope of Agentkit's role
Agentkit introduces customers to independent experts. We are not a party to the engagement. Contracts, statements of work, pricing, timelines, payments, delivery, and any disputes are between the customer and the expert.
Agentkit does not:
- handle payments, escrow, or invoicing between customers and experts
- provide a messaging, project-management, or shared-workspace surface
- grant experts elevated Agentkit plan limits, a free plan, or a dedicated agency workspace
- offer badges, ratings, reviews, or a public directory
- set or enforce response-time SLAs between customers and experts
