Calendly

Connect Calendly so your agent can search available booking times during a conversation.

The Calendly action lets your agent search your connected Calendly availability and show matching time slots in chat.

Use it when visitors ask to book a demo, schedule a call, reserve an appointment, or pick a meeting time.

Before You Start

  • Calendly actions require a paid Agentkit plan.
  • You need access to the Calendly account you want to connect.
  • Create the Calendly event type you want the agent to offer before setting up the action.

Step 1: Connect Calendly

  1. Open your agent.
  2. Go to Actions > Integrations.
  3. Click Connect on the Calendly card.
  4. Approve access in Calendly.

If the connection later expires, return to Actions > Integrations and reconnect Calendly before enabling related actions.

Step 2: Add the Action

  1. Go to Actions.
  2. Click Add Action and choose Calendly.
  3. Pick the Calendly event type the agent should use.
  4. Review the When to use instructions.
  5. Save and enable the action.

The action searches a date window. If the visitor does not provide dates, the default instructions use the next 7 days.

What Visitors See

When the action runs, the agent searches Calendly for available slots and shows matching times in chat so the visitor can choose one.

Good Trigger Instructions

Use specific instructions, for example:

Use this action when the visitor wants to book a demo or schedule a call.
If they do not provide dates, search from today through the next 7 days.
If they provide a date range, use that range.

Troubleshooting

The action cannot be enabled

Make sure Calendly is connected in Actions > Integrations and the connection status is Connected.

No slots appear

Check that the selected Calendly event type has available times in the searched window. If the visitor asks for a narrow window, ask for a wider range and try again.
